Welcome to Restaurant Week, sponsored by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington

We invite you to select an appetizer or half order of pasta for your first course, a pasta or main course for your entrée, and a dessert

Menus are not intended for sharing and they are $35 per person (not including beverages, tax and gratuity)

SALAD – APPETIZER

CAVOLO  

 Baby kale salad, shaved apples and yellow beets, pecorino cheese, beet dressing

CALAMARI 

Stuffed calamari, "fisherman" filling, sauteed escarole, tomato sugo

HAMACHI

Hamachi crudo, radish,yuzu foam, frisee, orange, crispy seaweed and micro celery

RADICCHIO e GORGONZOLA  

 Radicchio, gorgonzola and mascarpone cheese, poached bosc pear, candied walnuts 

ZUPPA

Celery root soup with brown butter, sage, pickled shallots

 

PASTA

 Whole wheat square spaghetti, cherry tomatoes, basil, tomato sauce

FETTUCCINE 

Black fettuccine, crab, calabrese pepper

PAPPARDELLE  

Hickory farm rabbit ragu, white wine sauce, thyme, olive oil

RAVIOLI DEL PLIN  

Braised short rib ravioli, brasato sauce, aromatic oil

CAPPELLACCI

Squash-filled ravioli, brown butter, fried salsify

 

MAIN COURSE

SALMONE 

Pan-seared verlasso salmon, lentils, baby carrots

BRANZINO 

Mediterranean seabass, cannellini bean puree, crispy guanciale, turnips

PESCE ALLA GRIGLIA

Daily selection of fresh fish, simply grilled, served over the chef’s daily selection of vegetables

ANATRA 

Duck leg confit, pickled pioppini mushrooms, apple/cinnamon puree, grilled Belgian endive

COSTOLETTA DI VITELLO 

Grilled free range veal chop, potato and leek cake, creamed cauliflower, red wine sauce

 (there is a $16 supplement for this item)

 

DESSERT

TOSCA’S TIRAMISU 

Served in a glass; mascarpone cream, coffee-soaked sponge cake and chocolate chips,

topped with warm marsala zabaglione

TORTA AL CIOCCOLATO

Chocolate cake, liquid chocolate center, roasted walnuts, chocolate crumble, banana ice cream

CROSTATA DI MELE 

Rustic tart with caramelized apples, cherries and almonds, served with salted caramel gelato

 SORBETTO FATTO IN CASA

House made sorbet of the day with fresh berries
